Salah satu kext yang memiliki peranan penting akhir akhir ini adalah Lilu.kext. Lilu.kext dicetuskan oleh Vit9696. Dan dibantu oleh rekanan yang lain maka kext ini mengalami perkembangan yang pesat. Fungsi kext ini adalah untuk melakukan patching ke dalam kext cache / kernel cache. Ingat fungsi kext ini adalah membuka akses dan kemudian rebuild kembali kextcache / kernel cache sehingga proses patching dan process lainnya yang dibutuhkan oleh kext kext plugin dari Lilu.kext ini bisa berjalan semestinya. Artinya kext ini jelas membutuhkan plugin plugin kext lainnya.
